sustainability helps build a

stronger & healthier

Kenya for generations to come

1.8 MILLION PEOPLE IN KENYA FACE CRITICAL LEVELS OF FOOD INSECURITY

There are a number of ways through which Zoe Ministries provides sustainable resources to our community in Kenya including food security and job training programs. Because of the farming and greenhouse projects put in place throughout our region, we are able to harvest crops for our children and staff to eat on site at Zoe. Not only that, but these crops also supply the nearby community. Our neighbors now have a sustainable source of food for their families as well.

80% OF UNEMPLOYED KENYANS ARE UNDER 35 YEARS OLD

Another sustainable aspect of Zoe is the Job Training Program. Teaching specific skills through job training creates endless opportunities. Through job training, people are able to learn a certain trade, earn an honest income, and provide for their families. Job creation leads to poverty alleviation which leads to orphan prevention and ultimately, a stronger and healthier Kenya.
